Match Preview:
After stumbling and losing two crucial games (and drawing one), the Catalans seem to be regaining some ground after their last two wins against arguably mediocre teams in La Liga. Now they are up against Valencia, a team that has been going strong this season and that is willing and up and ready to give Barcelona (and its fans) a run for its money (as much as there may be of it).
Rumor has it that Iniesta is ready to start as he has recovered from injury, however, he may not be able to play a full 90 minute game. Valencia is also looking for a victory in their pocket as they have drawn a match at home against Athletico Madrid and gone and lost a game to their own neighbours; Levante. This time they have the advantage of playing at home. For both teams it's either go big or go home tomorrow at Mestella.
However, Enrique’s men seek to bring on their A game. With Neymar, Messi and Suarez on the front and the regular defense on the back who’s to say the team won’t bag another win for this season? Valencia is four points beneath Barcelona at which point the gloves have come off and the men are all ready to fight. Enrique’s men seem to have regained confidence but the question is if they can maintain a victory streak and score a victory hatrick after all? With Valencia going strong, only time will tell.
Possible starting lineup: Diego Alves, Barragan, Otamendi, Mustafi, Javi Fuego, Carles Gil, Jose Gaya, Andre Gomes, Negredo, Parejo, Rodrigo
Possible starting lineup: Bravo, Pique, Mathieu, Alba, Alves, Busquets, Rakitic, Xavi, Neymar, Suarez, Messi
My Prediction: Barcelona 1-1 Valencia
